COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We were inspired to brew this style of beer by the European village breweries whose ales were brewed and delivered fresh to be enjoyed in the pubs of the surrounding local area. Draught Ale is brewed to be served fresh in the many great watering holes just down the road; therefore we don’t need to filter or pastuerise it. We want it to be served over the bar just like it is in our storage tank at the brewery. Brewed with local water from the Byron Bay hinterland, Australian grown barley, wheat, and hops, and carefully selected ale yeast we have crafted a beer with complex flavours and a clean bitter finish.

Formerly known as Draught Ale.

Good attenuation and hoppy finish. Aftertaste: nice hoppy and wet bitterness with caramel. Really a beer that I liked.

Lovely grassy aroma of hops in the glass. Pours cloudy pale amber with a thin frothy White head that lasts. Feels smooth in the mouth with dog carbonation. Taste is great; medium sweet, very light bitter with hoppy flavours leaving a pleasant aftertaste. Definitely recommend this beer.

Love this beer, better on tap IMHO as it seems to pour with a creamier head. My goto at present. The galaxy hops show through giving it that citrus kick, and the late bitterness associated with the high alpha content of the hop. Great summer beer on a hot day!

Aroma: Medium-high hops, piney, citrus, Medium-light apricot. No Malt. Appearance: Clear, yellow body. Small white head, fair retention. Flavour: Medium piney, citrus. Medium-light sweetness, medium-light bitterness.Very dry, almost astringent finish. Crisp Mouthfeel: High carbonation. Light body Overall: Easy drinking, but the aroma promises more than the beer delivers. A nice beer, but the carbonation is too high, causing more burps than sips. The astringency is off-putting. 330 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Danie! 6B. Blonde Ale

Pours sunny yellow with thin white head. Aroma is the best part of this beer- juicy tropical fruit galore. You get pineapple, mango, peach, grapefruit, mandarin- you name it. Combined with a fresh, citrus hoppy aroma as well. Taste is lovely and light, definitely a summer session ale, so not exactly a great match to my stormy autumn night, but goes nicely with my hot curry. Hop character is quite understated. Sweet refreshing finish with light bitterness, lively carbonation. Refreshing, but not something to savor.

Good session ale. Good flavour -I think it is single-hopped with Galaxy from memory- and good thing they keep it nice and light: my impression of Galaxy is that it can get a bit harsh on its own. Quite sweet at the end.

This 330ml bottle was dated best before 7 October 2015 and was poured into a pint glass. The beer poured a hazy pale yellow with a one finger big bubble head that disappears fairly quickly. It had excellent aromas! Very tropical fruit forward especially mango, pineapple, orange, peach and apricot. Like the nose, the taste is of tropical fruits. Mainly mango and peach with a slight bitter lemon finish. It was light bodied, crisp, medium carbonation and refreshing. Overall this was an a good beer, very easy to drink and great for a hot summers day.
