We were inspired to brew this style of beer by the European village breweries whose ales were brewed and delivered fresh to be enjoyed in the pubs of the surrounding local area. Draught Ale is brewed to be served fresh in the many great watering holes just down the road; therefore we don’t need to filter or pastuerise it. We want it to be served over the bar just like it is in our storage tank at the brewery. Brewed with local water from the Byron Bay hinterland, Australian grown barley, wheat, and hops, and carefully selected ale yeast we have crafted a beer with complex flavours and a clean bitter finish.

Formerly known as Draught Ale.

Pale straw colour with medium white head. Pungent fruity aroma. Passionfruit and pineapple/mango. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Taste is clean without too much character. Low bitterness and hardly any malt, just a slightly grainy character. Crisp finish.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2014 Looks way too light to be good - but don’t be fooled. This beer has an alluring aroma which is backed up by a brilliantly balanced taste. One of the best Australian beers I have had (and unbelievably good given it’s low alcohol content).

Totally individual. Fruity. Refreshing. Unique. Sensational. The only problem is that it is so hard to find. As soon as anyone gets any stock, it disappears.

Draft - Sweet tropical fruit. Hazy pale gold with a decent white head. Sweet tropical fruit juice, carbonation bite and some residual sweetness. Tastes like pop.

Strong passionfruit aroma. Clear golden colour with excellent head. Fruity hop flavours, citrus and passionfruit mainly. Sharp dry finish. Light body with spritzy high carbonation.

Hazy golden ale with a firm white head. Aroma is lovely citrus/lemony and floral hops. Slightly biscuity malt, too. Velvety soft body. Flavor is light citrus and floral hops. Really easy going but with plenty of flavor. Such a great beer and good for a few pints without getting too pissed.

Excellent aroma when the bottle was opened. I was surprised to find it poured quite pale. It is very clear. Tastes great and a welcome addition to the beer fridge. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Absolutely fantastic versatile beer with very well balanced and flavoured hops. Bottle fermenting is a little annoying as it can be difficult to pour a clear beer after a few Pacific Ales in the gullet, but otherwise my favourite Aussie beer of the last few years. Galaxy hops for the win.
