COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We were inspired to brew this style of beer by the European village breweries whose ales were brewed and delivered fresh to be enjoyed in the pubs of the surrounding local area. Draught Ale is brewed to be served fresh in the many great watering holes just down the road; therefore we don’t need to filter or pastuerise it. We want it to be served over the bar just like it is in our storage tank at the brewery. Brewed with local water from the Byron Bay hinterland, Australian grown barley, wheat, and hops, and carefully selected ale yeast we have crafted a beer with complex flavours and a clean bitter finish.

Formerly known as Draught Ale.

Keg at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours lightly hazed yellow ith a tight, white cream head. There’s definitely some tangy citrus on the nose, lemon in particular. Light sweet flavor with lots of zippy, pale citrus fruits, suggestions of brett, salty lemon, touches of pale bread sweetness. Light bodied with average, spritzy carbonation. Cleansing to finish with more lightly tart lemon, hints of bitter citrus rind, a flurry of salty bite. Well, this is damn tasty; but it drinks like a Berliner weisse and I can only imagine it is not the Stone and Wood...well, I enjoyed it.

Was consumed out of a stubby. Need to mix the sediment in the bottle for any real flavour. A nice light drop overall good aroma with floral fruity taste 22 bucks for a sixy..

Light pale yellow colour. Spicy aroma with a slight citrus finish. Head is thin and white, and doesn’t hold. Some passionfruit and caramel favours matched with floral and malt characteristics with some spice. Very watery. Was expecting something more

Tap at Sail & Anchor. Slightly cloudy gold pour with small, quickly fading head. Passionfruit, mango, caramel aroma. Taste is pretty similar, light, fruity, very easy drinking. Good summer beer.

Tastes a bit watery. Very pale, as could be expected for a golden, it just doesn?t taste of much. Perhaps I just don?t like golden ales...

Cask in the Horseshoe NW3. Light pale yellowy gold in colour. Sweetish, fruity hop with something like lychee and passion fruit. Now I guess this should be drunk when it’s nice and warm, and maybe sat there in London with tempeatures barely above freezing outside wasn’t ideal, but I thought this was a pretty thin effort and the sweetness almost tasted a bit artificial.

Pours a hazy light golden colour with a white fluffy head. Nice aroma of tropical fruits and a bit of malt. Light bodied with lively carbonation, some floral notes and minimal hops. A nice sessionable beer for the Australian summer but not massively memorable
