COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We were inspired to brew this style of beer by the European village breweries whose ales were brewed and delivered fresh to be enjoyed in the pubs of the surrounding local area. Draught Ale is brewed to be served fresh in the many great watering holes just down the road; therefore we don’t need to filter or pastuerise it. We want it to be served over the bar just like it is in our storage tank at the brewery. Brewed with local water from the Byron Bay hinterland, Australian grown barley, wheat, and hops, and carefully selected ale yeast we have crafted a beer with complex flavours and a clean bitter finish.

Formerly known as Draught Ale.

Bottle. Hazy light straw body with an average sized white head. Aroma:taste of mango, citrus, coriander seed with an underlying sweetness. Light bodied, dry.

Pours a light yellow with fine suspended sediment. They’ve gone a bit nuts on the galaxy hops: citrus and passionfruit everywhere. Enough bitterness to stop it falling into boring summer ale territory... just. Tingling carbonation and a little dryness on the palate. Not a bad session ale.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2012 Bottle from Mane Liquor. May well turn out to be the perfect weekend session beer. Very refreshing beer with loads of fruityness and citrus tones about it. Super easy drinking

Bottle. Hazy yellow with a full head. Very fruity aroma, melon like. Flavour is bubbly with a feeling that there is a fruit drink you just add water to in the background. Finish is dry and light bitter. Not unpleasant, just a bit unusual.

Pours a nice cloudy golden straw color, great head that lasts. Aroma of fruity and maltyness. Not a strong taste but a bit sweet with hints of hop and fruit. Mouthfeel is quite carbonated and not too long. Nice tasting beer, quite refreshing, easy drinking, great on a hot day.

Off the tap, slightly hazy, thin head that faded quickly. Big hop aromas of pineapple and passionfruit. Soft and rounded flavours with the balance definitely towards the hops. A good hot weather quaffer - enjoyed this one.

Tasted at Beer Deluxe Melbourne, used to love the draught ale but the latest batch of rebranded Pacific Ale smells like a cat pissed on a passionfruit vine. Where is the seductive scent of floral galaxy hop aroma I loved on the Draught version without being all in your face ? please remember guys cleavage is more appealing than the naked breast in other words some hops are meant to be flaunted in a teasing flirty manner with balance and others are best standing naked on their own... put your shirt back on
