Perfect Summer session beer. Very nixcely balanced. The aroma is pure galaxy/passionfruit, the flavour is fresh, fruity/passionfruit with a distinct yet subtle hop presence. On a Summers day there is no better beer.

I had this beer at the Beach Hotel in Byron Bay.....I thought it was great. Unfilterred with a cloudy pale apperance, tight head with good head retention and an amazing aroma (pretty sure its Galaxy hops). The aroma is really fresh, almost fruit salad. It finishes dry with lower bitterness, had a few in one sitting.

Pours a nice cloudy golden straw color, great head that lasts. Aroma of fruity and maltyness. Not a strong taste but a bit sweet with hints of hop and fruit. Mouthfeel is quite carbonated and not too long. Nice tasting beer, quite refreshing, easy drinking, great on a hot day.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2012 I had to re-rate this beer. The first time I had it, it was completely different to what I had expected and I think I under-rated it because of this. This is a really good beer. Beautful aroma of apricot hops. A really sharp clean feel on this beer with a dry, only slightly bitter, finish. The lightish body and higher carboantion make it incredibly refreshing. I am really impressed with this beer, and despite its fruity aroma it is not overly sweet at all and easily sessionable.

Not much to say about this beer that hasn’t been said before. Not a beer that will blow your mind but it’s the ultimate Australian session beer. Massive Galaxy.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2012 Now, here is a beer to get you through summer. There’s some citrus and honey on the nose, and a fair bit of malt in the taste, with a slight hint of bitterness at the end It’s got a lovely passionfruit overtone and it’s very, very clean. If beer was found in nature, this one would be a fast flowing mountain stream. The relatively high carbonation also suits for summer drinking. 330ml is definitely not enough. Can I get another, barkeep?

Draught. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Smells of pine, citrus, sweet. Tastes of a medium sweetness, light tart, medium-light bitter. Light bodied, light carbonation, oily texture. Finishes piny and mildly bitter, but also slightly cloying. Refreshing, pleasant.

A solid find on my travels (The Standard, Brunswick VIC). Fantastic on a cold or hot day, and definitely an all-nighter. Slight citrus and sweet aroma, with a similar accompanying taste. No aftertaste, and not so flowery that you forget you?re drinking beer. Good from the bottle, preferable from the tap in a pint glass. Worth a space for a six pack in your fridge at least once or twice.
