A pleasant floral hops aroma with light caramel notes, very typical. In mouth, a decent IPA with good balance of floral hops and malt. Medium bodied. Sampled at Vermont Brewfest July 19 2008. A ridiculously off-target IPA.
I like:
Worst beer in a while.
I dislike:
While poured from the draught, this was full of yeast sediments. Problematic dry-hopping covers whatever flaws you can bet there are. Hugely yeasty in a dusty way, almost a pure dust flavour in fact. Empty maltiness provides no suppleness nor mouthfeel.

5/31/08 update - Intensely hoppy, quite bitter, and a bit stronger in alcohol than the last time I had this brew. Much improved over the original.
Original Rating - Poured a yellow amber in color with a small white head that quickly faded. Aroma was of piney hops. Flavor was also medium hoppy without much balance. Kind of watery. OK, average pale ale at best. I’ll stop back again soon to check it out. Cletus (5055), Connecticut, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 24, 2007 I can’t believe I’m rating a new brewer in VT before Barry. :P Pours a straw color with a lacking white head. Smells resiny with some soapy resiny elements. Tastes mildly bitter and somewhat watery with some okay hop presence. There were two other beers on when I was there, but I was literally stopping in with a 5 hour drive ahead of me. I’ll have to stop again in the winter when they have their brewing operation fully up and running.
