A mid golden yellow coloured beer with a weak white head. A very weak nose, some floral hops are present, but not much else. Dry slightly metallic taste, hoppy, with a zesty fruit flavour along with a dry pale malt flavour. Slightly biscuity, with a buttery taste. dry, malty finish. (Cask - The Fox & Hounds Summer Beer Festival 2007, Heacham, Norfolk).

A Mes rate: cask at Baker Street ’Sporks.
An excellent clean golden blonde with a medium sized and very well behaved white head. Served with no sparkler might I add and it’s in excellent condition. Well done Baker Street JDW. Lovely grassy and citric hop aroma with a solid earthy malt base. Well balanced flavour with some good fruity hops on top of a strong biscuity malt base. Nice sweet yet citric finish with some lingering earth and grapefruit. Good stuff. I have to say the quality of the beer in this place is getting better.

Draught. Pale amber with some head. Somewhat hoppy aroma. Light body with light to medium carbonation. Flavour is malt and fruit with flowery hops giving a lightly bitter aftertaste.

Even if you aren’t into football, you have to taste this one. It’s golden with a nice head and the aroma has notes of malt, caramel and fruity hops with quite some citrus. The flavour is pleasant and smooth with notes of malt, caramel, fruit and citrus - all in all a very charming beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol. Deep gold colour with a moderate, off-white head. Sweet malt aroma with some hay and floral hops. Flavour of floral hops and more malt with a decent bitter finish. Good.
