COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - June to August.
Brewed at OG 1044 and ABV 4.5%. Eye-Opener is a beautiful golden, dry and smooth premium bitter with a hint of toffee, which compliments the citrusy and spicy flavours. A touch of magic and a hint of mystery is left on the palate.

Amber, slight haze, aroma is slightly fruity and the taste has a good orchard fruit hop note and understated caramel malts.

Not the most exciting of beers but it goes down nice an smoothly. Itís got a subtle floral taste with citrus from the hops more subtle still.

August 20, 2013 - hand-pull cask at The Eagle. Mostly clear light amber with a small off-white head. Light simple grain and floral aroma. Taste is oddly lactic and sour, but it hit my palate just right. Light and refreshing.

Small offwhite head. Slightly hazy yellow body. Light floral fruity aroma. Dry-sweet fruity caramelly taste with resiny notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, flat mouthfeel. Dryish floral fruity aftertaste with dusty notes. Itís perfectly OK, but not enough flavour. (0.284l cask, at The Swan Inn, York.)

Cask by handpump at Drum & Monkey, Glasgow - clear golden ale, creamy white head, no detectable aroma at serving temperature, excellent lacing, very nice malty, toffee flavour, very easy to drink

Sorachi ace hops! Pale blonde with gentle carbonation and a fruity malt nose. Lemongrass flavours and a touch of hay, but didnít pick up that it was sorachi ace as I normally do.

Tasted this in Tennentís Bar, Glasgow in November 2008. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear straw yellow in colour with a thin white head. Golden syrup notes in the short aroma. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a strong fruit note of creamy peaches and lychees. Peppery notes detected in the hop resins, giving a dry dusty bitter aftertaste. Finish is fruity with ripe nectarines so smooth in the juicy mouth. An excellent session bitter, especially for the summer.
