COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Seasonal - December.
Brewed at OG 1048 and ABV 5.0%. The dark amber colour and body derived from crystal malt combined with the Goldings aroma hops gives the beer just the right warmth and flavour - explicitly Santa’s choice.

tombyars (1362) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - OCT 12, 2011
First tasted this at the Hogshead, Paisley in December 1994. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear ruby red in colour with a thin creamy white head. Light caramel and fruity malt in the short aroma. Creamy mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a moist base of maltloaf with juicy sultanas, figs, cherries and redcurrants. Spicy hop resins add to the festive aftertaste with dryness. Finish is smooth and warming with a alcoholic vinous edge. One of the better festive ales out there.

Svesse (6158) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JAN 18, 2011
(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 10 Dec 2010) Dark ruby colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with toast, dried fruit, apricots and dark bread. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, toast, caramel and earthy hops in a fairly bittersweet finish. Slightly more than medium body. Quite nice.

Cask at the Claude du Vall (JDW), Camberley. Copper coloured with a tight cream head; aroma of sour cherries; sour cherry flavour with some soft caramel malts; and an unpleasantly acidic finish.

Cask @ YNWA, Kolding.
Pours red amber with a fine, craemy, white head. Aroma is sweet, some buttery notes, a bit of red berries and dark fruits. Low carbonation, kinda fat mouthfeel. Sweet malty flavour with caramel and fine, dry hops. Just a tad of Christmas-y spice at the end.
