Pasteurised can. The William Stones Brewery was bought by Bass and rights to the brand were passed to Coors when Interbrew bought Bass. A yellowish bit of nonsense. Fizz and metal and stale beer. The pits.

Can; Odd (catty) aroma, surprisingly well balanced with lingering sweetness. Harmless enough to quaff while watching match of the day

Can. Gold colour, very short lived white head disappears quicker than snow in Las Vegas, moderate condition. I wasnt drunk but in trying to sample the (lack of) aroma I managed to snort beer up my nose. Low fruity malt (literaly) in the nose. Fruitiness continued in the mouth becoming almost orangey. Slight tingle of bitterness in the finish.

(Can) Deep golden colour with a thin fizzy white head. Floral, slightly spicy aroma. Slightly grainy flavour with a quick and light perfumed bitter finish. Watery mouthfeel.

(Sampled draught at The Jacksons, Sunderland). Golden colour, good head. Smooth. An easy quaffing bitter, not much character - but let's admit it: I'm a sucker for beers like this when quantity is the matter of the day.

440ml can. Dull golden colour with no head and a nasty tinny nose. Slight touch of malt in the flavour which has a nasty after taste. Overall it just a standard watery and weak bitter from a big business brewer. Horrid to the end...
