2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
One that got away, presumed unrateable. Wildly fizzing with a little white head. Nana V’s kitchen aroma with well sugared crystallised ginger. That taste with washy crystallised and sushi hits pleasantly swamped with lemonade fizz and sugar. Almost wincingly sweet but develops a mellow afterburn. Could happily disappear in one smooth draught. Ginger shandy basically. Feels about 2%. Ideal post-run rehydration.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
0.33l bottle. This one pours a soft blurry, almost clear looking golden body with a short lived quickly sidesticking bright white top. Smells of artificial ginger and gymnastic hall. No wait, it’s grønnsåpe! Yeah, it absolutely oozes of grønnsåpe. Strange. Oh, it’s super super sweet this. Amazingly sweet actually. It has a little gingerly gingerbread peppery tone, but the sugary sweetness dominates absolutely everything. Not my kind of thing at all this. 13.04.2014

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
330ml bottle by the courtesy of Finn. Clear late straw coloured body. Loose white head, dissipating fairly quickly. Poor lacing. Mild ginger aroma, pale malts beneath. Candy sweet taste of ginger and that’s it. Lively carbonated. Maybe ok as a sweet soft drink (Tromsø 01.06.2014).

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear, very pale body with a small, fizzy, white, short-lived head. This looks more like a soft drink than a beer. It smells like a soft drink as well, the aroma is strong, sweet and crisp with soapy ginger and nothing more. Once in the mouth I’m convinced that this is in fact a soft drink, it’s very sugary sweet with no other flavours than sweet sugary ginger. It’s sirupy with a lively carbonation, some ginger dryness in the late aftertaste. Please remove this "beer" from Ratebeer.

Note to self, do not drink again. Smells and tastes of ginger. Pale yellow. Pretty boring, pretty unpalatable. God I must have been pissed when I bought this...

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: FEB 12, 2015 0,33L bottle. Pours clear golden with white head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is sweet and ginger. Taste is very sweet, ginger; it feels artificial. Overall: as far as beers go, this just isn’t a beer. As far as just random drinks go, if you like ginger, you won’t mind this one.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a clear light orange-hued golden body with a fizzy white head which disappears swiftly. Nose is ginger, syrup, mild pale malts and hints of citrus. Taste is sweet ginger tones, soda-pop-ish syrupy hints of and faint citric tones. Light, near-watery body, fizzy carbonation. Pretty OK as a soda pop alternative I guess, but this seems far from a real beer of any kind. I guess this listing could disappear at any time.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Appearance: Clear golden color with a fine frothy white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Fruity and ginger.
Palate: Medium body. A bit sweet and a mild bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Fruity, some spices and ginger.
Overall impression: They managed to get a lot of ginger in the flavor. So for those who like it…...for me a little bit to sweet. It could otherwise be a nice thirst quencher in the summer sun.
