Brown 330ml bottle 4%abv; pours a white 1-finger head that lasts few seconds, light golden bubbly clear body, lots of ginger to the nose, some scents of sweet lemon and dishwash fluid. Citric sweet taste, ginger, flowers, cloves, cola, eucalyptus candies, jam. Soft drink feel, not watery. Aftertaste warming sweet, hints of raisin, still some ginger. Overall sweet stuff, may be a pal to dessert and fruit plates - I think I need some water now.... B@Ica,tasted@home.

Bottle 33 cl. Golden, clear with minimal white head. Ginger aroma, light bitter with a short ginger/anis end. Taste like Norwegian ingefærøl soda.

Golden. No head. Very fizzy. Super, over the top sweet. Ginger, cola, sugar, candy, some lemon flavour. Is this a soda or a beer?

Bottle. A clear, golden beer topped by a small, dense off-white head. The aroma has ginger and white sugar, not much else, if anything. Some lemony flavors, with white sugar and lots of ginger. Medium to thin on the palate, soft carbonation. Short ginger finish with white sugar. Doubt this one has anything to do here on ratebeer, but it’s sort of pleasant anyway. 140315

Doftar: Ingerfära, citrus, pommac. Smakar: En välbalanserad Ingerfära öl...söt och riktigt god. Inte mycket kolsyra i men har en fin munkänsla. Passar till sommaren och till festliga tillfällen.

Bottle from Matkroken, Stokka. Pours clear weak golden with a tiny head. Aroma is sweet spicy malty, noticeable ginger. Taste is sweet, cloyingly so, sticky sugary mouthfeel, with a very late, big burning ginger bite. Drainpour.

Flaske 0,33l fra Kilpishalli. Forsøkt som matøl på RV124 15 Feb 14. Gyldenbrun. Med høy kvelling gir det er kortlivd skum. Ser ut som eplejuice og aroma som ingefærbrus. Smaken er søt ingefærbrus. Her fikk vasken brorparten. Mislykket som matøl.

Very fresh. Aroma is citrus, ginger (it’s a ginger beer, duh), very mildly oaky. Appearance is very clear and transparent, almost no foam. Taste is VERY fresh, sweet. Light palate with slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Overall this is more like lemonade than beer, but serves well as a refreshing drink. Perhaps a bit too easy to drink, due to light body.
