Creedence (161) - Cork, IRELAND - APR 2, 2013
Draught at Franciscan Well Easter Festival. Pours a pale fizzy yellow with a tiny fizzy white head. Smells like apples, pears and peach. Bitterness initially which is overhauled by a nice fruity sweetness; quite balanced and round. Dry sweet finish, with lively carbonation. As someone who drinks cider about once a year, this has me thinking I should drink it more often. Lovely stuff.

Golden pour, lots of fizz in the glass. Sour apple, apple skins and a twist of cinnamon/spice on the aroma. Sweet up front buy quickly rises to a very dry sourness. Lively carbonation. An excellent cider.

Bottled. Clear pale golden. Citric apple aroma. Dry and crisp with fairly light body and clean mouthfeel. Clean and elegant, very slight tannines. Well drinkable, not with a lo tof flavour depth.

garthicus (2358) - Dublin, IRELAND - SEP 7, 2012
Bottle at Finigans Irish restaurant, Galway. Not to be confused with the medium dry cider also available. Appearance: Golden yellow, no head. Aroma: decent sweetness and tons of fresh apples. Flavour: Initially sweet making way to lively carbonation on the tongue, dry with a fresh apple bite in the finish. Very nice.
