Commercial Description:
We hand craft naturally fermented alcoholic hard cider using only the finest quality ingredients. Our hard cider is produced in small batches using only fresh pressed locally grown apples. Our hard cider is made from a hand selected blend of apples to create a refreshing balance between sweetness and acidity. Golden color, mild bitterness, medium sweetness, fragrant fruity aroma, (very apple-y).

Nose was sweet and light. Pour was quite pale and full head dissipating into a mostly flat appearance. Flavor was rather weak. Not much to realy tie your tongue around. Faint orchard apple flavor that fell off too quickly. Finish was slighly better with a taste that could be sensed deep at the back of the throat. Overall a less than stellat vineyard version of hard cider.

I can't believe I'm giving this high a rating to a cider, but here goes. Smells like Grannies and Fujis, not of alcohol at all. A sharp and delicious cidery smell, with minimal carbonation--so unlike the acerbic CO2 nose of commercial ciders. Super pale yellow, like a good Chardonnay. Starts sweet and spicy and finishes tart. Tastes like fresh cider even if it doesn't look like it. Juicy throughout and utterly impressive. I want to get ahold of the traditional cider from this winery now. I suspect with a little less sweetness and the same attention to quality, that it will truly be superb.
