COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American Pale Ale brewed with the finest crystal malts. Dry hopping with Cascade hops gives this beer a floral hoppy nose and distinct hop finish.

Poured a cloudy golden copper color with a modest white head. The nose was of fruity citric hops, with nice touches of vanilla, honey and pale malt. The taste echoes the aroma. It begins with a nice orange zest citric fruitiness. Then the malted grain appears midway through and adds a nice dimension of balance to the malts and hops. The finish is clean with pleasant floral hops lingering around. Light residual sugars add to the enjoyment. The amount of alcohol is more than appropriate to make it a good session ale. A damn fine beer.

Had this beer on 4/9/07. Aroma is light with a sweet hop scent. Color is a hazy gold with very active carbonation and a nice big bubble head. Taste is crisp and hoppy. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a fizzy feel. Finish comes on with a bitterness biting at the sides of your tongue and a very light malt flavor. On the end is a bright hop flavor and a nice finishing bitterness. This is one nice hoppy brew.

Bottle in Minnesota. A mild grassy and malt aroma with apple. Fairly well balanced. Rating from notes.

Caramel malt-heavy bottom supporting a rich fresh tasting PNW hop bitterness with all of the pine and grapefruit notes that you would expect. Nicely brewed and sessionable drink.

I will freely admit I got this one for ratings whoring purposes, and it frightens me. I am frightened because there is a whitish film on the bottom of the inside of the bottle. Being this isnít exactly a bottle-conditioned Belgian ale, I have fear. Light copper. Smells of soap, weeds, some citrus, and stale bread. Flavor is sweet, some light fruit, a few hops, bit earthy. Thin and watery, is at least not actively horrid but isnít particularly good.

Pours copper and hazy with a creamy white head. Some floaties are present in the glass. Smells of grass, citrus, bread and surprisingly sharp for an APA. Taste is of lemons, pepper, floral, some grapefruit. Finish is sweet caramel with some peppery notes.

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2005 Has a pale orange slightly hazy body with a pure white frothy light head which is mostly diminishing. The nose is piney citrus, floral, and contains sweet mal. Has a slight hoppy bite with a soft, sweet malty backbone. I also detect a unique citrusy floral bouquet in the finish. Palate is not excessively watery and goes well with the overall balance of this beer.

Gold color with a medium head. Dusty hop aroma. Very earthy tones in the flavor which I find unusual for a Pale Ale. The standard bitterness is the finish. Not bad at all.

Started off great. Perhaps this is because I havenít had the chance to drink anything but lagers for the past month (long trip to Japan). The head was nice. Aroma almost has a honey-like quality to it. Color and body are kind of weak. I could pound these back all night no problem. I am kind of surprised to see that it has 5.5% alcohol, though my body is saying quite the opposite. The alcohol taste is well hidden, so I think that it might earn a better overall score from me, compared to its individual ratings.
