2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours orange with a slight tan head. Aroma is rye bread and a touch of malt. Bread flavor with not much texture. Smooth to drink but not much to remember. This one wasn’t one of my favorites.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
No head, tons of bubbles, light red brown color. No aroma. Taste is actually ok, some nice maltiness and pretty to style. Mouthfeel is off, watery. Eh.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: FEB 21, 2005 Poured a medium to dark and slightly hazy copper color with an averaged sized off white head. Caramel in the aromas and tastes (stronger in the taste). Other than a trace of hops, not much else going on here. Smooth body.

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUL 17, 2005 I like this brew, but the nose is annoying and musky. A caramel sweetness is present and the piney and fruity hops are mild, but this beer is more defined by its higher than average carbonation and thus fizzy mouthfeel. It is unfiltered and a bit of a hazy red. There’s a bit of a yeastiness in there also.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap. Brilliant, clear copper color. Khaki colored head lingers and leaves decent lacing. Slightly hoppy aroma, a little funky. Body is thin. Tart hop flavor. Slightly drying. Decent.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Copper color with a considerable head. Aroma was that of a pale ale but with more sweetness. Hints of citrus. Taste was unique if unspectacular. This is definitely not a great beer, but there are much worse. I scored it pretty much down the middle.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
draft at brewery--rather typical appearance, red and clear with a light off-white head. very good session ale, but it’s too neutral to stand out. some wooden/peat flavors, but mostly malt and vienna-like hops.

2.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Hmm...I thought I was the only one who couldn’t find a smell to this beer. Taste is decent and drinkable but nothing special. Kind of a run-of-the-mill amber beer.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Aroma is virtually non-existant. Maybe some slight caramel malts and a touch of DMS. Not very quaffable. Transparent amber/copper color with quickly dissipating fizzy off-white head. Start is somewhat bland leading way to a chewy grainy middle with pale and caramel flavors. Finishes with a touch of smoke and more graininess. *shrugs*
