It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, bread, light straw and the slightly sweet flavor has notes of malt, bread, grain and straw. The finish is semi dry/bitter.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It’s a clear one, golden in color and with a small, off-white head. Neutral aroma with some grains and a touch of hops. Dull flavor too, although a bit more interesting, at least the hops shows up. Nice carbonation, medium body. The finish is a bit short, with a nice bitterness. 110128

Bottle: Pale golden to golden, small and stable white foamy layer, lazy carbonation; sweetish grainy-strawy nose with a papery touch; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; slightly hoppier towards the short bitter-sweet finish. Not so exciting.....

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, vegetable notes, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110128]

Bottle @ Ulfborg Weekend, Jan 2011. Pours clear pale yellow with a small egg white head. Nose is grain and corn. Some perfume. Hoppy dry and grainy flavor. Medium bodied.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond foamy head of medium size. Grainy malty aroma with delicately citric and flowery hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light bodied with a calm carbonation. Grainy pale malt-character with subtle fruity and floral accents; sweet malty and delicately bitter hoppy finish with a grainy aftertaste. Unspectacular but clean and easy going. 11.X.10

previously tested on German BTO 12/2006: Dieses Bier stammt aus der privaten Landbrauerei Storchen (seit 1804) in Pfaffenhausen (Unterallgäu). Schöne Etiketten, dunkelrot mit Storch. Hellgelb liegt es im Glas und riecht hopfig. Schmeckt auch ziemlich hopfig, für bayerische Verhältnisse ist hier recht wenig Malz zu finden. Das Bier hat einen ganz eigenen Charme und Charakter, wirklich gut.
