Black with creamy tan head. Neutral nose. Palate of alcohol, brown sugar and sweet malt. Not the best effort

Growler. Aroma is maraschino cherries, sweet chocolate and cherry brandy. Flavour is chocolate, brandy, cherries; very sweet, could use some bitterness to balance, but very tasty.

Draft - Cherries and chocolate with a bit of booze. Dark brown black with a decent head. Tastes like dark chocolate and cherries, this is a combo I am not a fan of so unfortunately this beer doesn’t do it for me.

Draught at the brewery
Dark brown color, almost black. Lean mouthfeel, yet the chocolate comes through very rich; it has a light fruity touch, nice alcohol warmth. And a ticklish feeling.
Excellent sipper.

Cask at Central City Winter Cask Fest ’13, pours a murky reddish brown with a small tan head. Aroma of subtle cherries, a bit of chocolate and cocoa powder. Flavour of chocolate covered cherries – very well-balanced without much body. Quite a light body, but full-flavoured. Good stuff.
