COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A true North German Style Pilsner. Light in body and packed full of Czech Saaz hops. The distinctive Pilsner aroma and dry, refreshing taste make a great accompaniment to a hot Vanouver day.

Sampled on tap at Storm, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Nose is fairly light, with notes of grass and crackery malt. Flavour brings out grassiness and some crispness. Thirst-quenching pils that is well-balanced. Very nice.

Draft - Sour lemon and white grape. Pale yellow and fizzy with a decent white head. Grains and white grape, slight bitterness and clean finish.

manuchampions (1236) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 9, 2010
Sampled at Village Taphouse in West Vancouver. Light gold, cloudy with thin white head. Aroma is slightly cotton candy sweet, bubblegum. Some hops but buried. Taste is well hopped, sharp and refreshing though not mind blowing. Good, lingering finish. Would have thought it had slightly higher alcohol. Good.

Draught at Vij’s
Cloudy blond color. Fruity Lager, with strong bitterness, a bit yeasty and sour.
It’s probably the first poured glass of the day, and either the beer is off or Storm has to tell Vij’s how to clean the lines.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2010 Draft. Hazy canary yellow with scant head. Aroma is spritzy ginger ale and lemon. Thin palate with low carbonation. Pretty light and land. Not a pils at all! Has a light flowery flavor and kinda like a witbier in character. Watery and relatively inoffensive but not necessarily moreish.

Light golden colour with minimal head, Aroma is malty with a touch of spice and citrus. Flavour has some fruit and nice hop balance. A very nice tap pilsner.

Honeylike malt sweetness and fresh, haylike, herbal, lightly spicy hops in the nose. Somewhat hazy blonde body is topped by a low white head that recedes to partial cover leaving some sudsy lacing on the glass. Clean, sweet grainy malts and haylike herbal hops with some light fruity esters and moderate finishing bitterness. Light body with crisp carbonation. Enjoyed on tap at The Whip.

(Draught) Sampled at the brewery - thanks James! Pours a huge, frothy white head with a gold body. Nose and flavour is mildly doughy with some nice Pils refreshing hoppiness. Gets slightly horseblanket with a dry hop finish. Good.

Hazy golden colour with little in the way of head. Nose is a bit citrusy and spicy. Nice balance of bready malt and lemony and spicy noble hops. Finish is fairly crisp with low to moderate bitterness.
