Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’08. Brown amber with white head. Quite malty sweet with chocolatey notes, almost cocoa like, but then delivering a hoppy bitterness witha grape like fruitiness. An odd beer but quite well done, somarks for doing something different.

Bottle. Brown with a reasonable amount of carbonation. Left lots of sediment which was off putting. Some nuttiness but overall not very pleasant.

Hazy amber color. Malty aroma, roasted nusts and partially fruity yeast. Round body, medium strength, some malt and astronger caramel and roasted nuts (hazelnuts) taste. Interesting.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Merchants Inn Rugby. A llight amber coloured beer with a tight white head. The aroma is nice and fruity. Quite rich with nice malts also. The taste also is fruity and has a good body. However it doesn’t feel full flavoured enough.

Bottle. Clear orange coloured with an off white head. Sweet aroma of malts and caramel. Flavour of malts, caramel and hops.
