3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled, thanks Bov! Clack with rich beige head. Aroma of licorice and grapefruit. Sweet and very hoppy with minty licorice and grapefruit. Near full bodied with solid, rounded mouthfeel and lomg resiny bitterness. Well made, rock solid Black IPA.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
from Erzbierschof - dark beer under a solid creamy beige foam; long lasting and leaving a beautiful lace; a solid hoppy aroma of red fruits are meeting fair notes of coffee; creamy palate and with a respectable malt backbone; fairly bitter and pretty dry; long aftertaste of coffee, nuts with again a solid hop presence - beautiful beer

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33cl bottle from Erzbierschof.
Pours black, with a big brown head.
Smells rich with roasted malt, a hint of perhaps caramel, and a nice helping of citrus hops.
Tastes of a small sweetness, huge bitterness, and strong malt backbone.
Medium-full bodied, soft carbonation, oily texture.
Finishes mildly cloying, but with a large bitterness with a very long duration.
