4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Moderately bitter, amply aromatic hoppy blond with notes of oranges and herbs. There are an increasing number of German "craft beers" that try to do what this beer tries to do but don't do it nearly as well. In fact this is more polished and agreeable than most US-made pales ales. And widely available in many German supermarkets. Sign o' the times.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pale yellow colored and hazy with a very good rocky head which is quite long lasting. On the nose are a citrus notes, grapefruit and the aroma of passion fruit. It has a strong bitter taste however balanced by the malt and very drinkable. Light to medium bodied with fizzy carbonation makes is refreshing. It finishes long and bitter as it has to be.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
0,5 l bottle from local supermarket. Clear, pale golden yellow with a stable, soapy, white head. Heavy floral, citrusy aroma of lemon, grapefruit and mango. Slightly bitter taste of lemon, grapefruit and mango. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Crisp, medium bitter finish. Overall really refreshing with a lovely hoppy aroma. A very good thirst quencher in the summer and still good in late autumn. Enjoyable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Blassgelbe Farbee, weisse Schaumkrone.
