Very pale looking ale. Unfiltered. Clear hops, citrus, grapefruit. Bitterness continues until a long aftertaste. Dry finish. A non-typical style for a German beer.

Bottle 0,5l. Pours into very light yellow body with slight cloudiness. Head is white and creamy. Aroma is strong, filling with flavors of citrus, grape, grass and plums. Palate is soapy, medium bodied, carbonation is smooth and somewhat lazy, even watery. Taste is mix of malts which are overwhelmed by bitter hops (Citra, Cascade etc). The result is pretty balanced, dry and bitter, lingering with fruity aromas. Slight above average APA with North German Pils nuances. Best part is this is available in local market for reasonable prices. Thumbs up for Störtebeker.

Golden color with very stable and frothy rocky head. Smell is very fruity with citrus and maracuja. Aroma is also very fruity. Dry with good body. Some sweetness in the beginning and good balanced bitterness in the end. Very nice beer!

Bottle. Light golden, hazy, small to average and mostly lasting head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, faint caramel, some tropical fruitiness, light - some citrus hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light tropical fruitiness, light citrus hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty and dryish - lightly sweetish, light fruitiness, some piney/citrus hoppyness. OK German APA with decent bitterness - not too sweet.

Bottle. Pours clean golden with a medium head, like pilsener. In aroma there is malt and citrusy hops. In taste pilsner malt and citrus fruits from hops. Bitter in aftertaste, high carbonation. Good american hopped pilsner, very clean for ale. Worth trying.

Bottle 50cl trade by Quack-Duck. A clear yellow beer with medium head, nose is intense on grapefruit, dry lemon feeling. Aroma is on dry malt, grapefruit, good bitterness, body is low, malty touch at the finish, mandarine notes too. Long grassy bitterness duration at the finish.

Tall tight creamy white head. Short curtains. Pale yellow golden near-clear body. Aroma; fruity, rich, with hops, pine, citrus peel, citric sweet malts, lemon-spray. Fresh taste; citrus, pine forest, lemon drops, some juicy bread. Fresh on palate, moreish, lively carbonation, alright body. Finishes with hops, bread and lemon. I really like this :) [50cl. brown btl. 5.1%abv. BB05.01.15 B@Harrislee Flensburg DE]

500ml bottle provided by djoeye. Creamy white head over a yellow-gold coloured body with a slight haze. Smell of grain, dusty hops and wheat. Gently hopped taste profile, mild fruit, noble hops, and wheat. Smooth bitterness to the ending. Soft in the mouth. Quite taste brew, easy to like (shared with Finn, 16.07.2014).

Bottle from beerhunter111, many thanks: Hazy straw yellow color, creamy white head. Aroma with nice and fruity hop notes. Hints of citrus, oranges, grapefruit, flowers. Flavor is light malty, a bit sweet, hoppy with again citrus notes and a bit resin. Good.

Delicate aroma of hops and citrus. It’s clear, very bright yellow, with nice head. In taste it has very pleasant bitterness which is moderated by sweetness with mango taste. It’s so refreshing!

This beer uses 4 types of malts (Münchner, Distilling, Pilsener and Weizen), which gives it a straw yellow colour and a medium cloudy body. There is a bouquet of hops aroma, as it has been cold-hopped with a variety of hops (Tradition, Perle, Cascade, Amarillo and Citra). The aroma reminded us of fresh grass, a little citrus/grapefruity but also slightly bready. The taste is thin, there’s some prickly carbonation and a slightly sour, mildly flowery citrus taste which ends bitter, clean and warming. Plenty more bite and character than I expected.
