---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fresh german american pale ale, but somewhat thin. Fine hops that are used just for a bit to little..

Flaske 500ml anskaffet av djoeye. Delt med Rune på Nerstranda 16 Jul 14. Gyldengulbrun. Pent kritthvitt skum som etterlater litt lacing. Svakt uklar. God fruktaroma. Smaken fruktig med antydning til mandler. Avslutter litt tørt.

courtesy of bartlebier, thank you. piney, grassy aroma with an algae and metallic edge. Tastes is crisp, clean, nice, hints of melon, citrus, pines, towards the end a bit too watery, with a lingering bitterness at the finish. Mouthfeel is too foamy.

Bottle. Pours clean golden with a medium head. Aroma of malt and citrus hops. In taste maltiness and fruits from hops. Aftertaste is bitter, carbonation is high. It is more very hoppy American pilsner than ale but nevertheless it is still a good beer.

Quite interesting. It’s not really an APA, but more of a pilsener hell APA (it has that grassy and crisp character that you can usually find in pilseners/hells, but with the citrussy twist of a pale ale). Reduced biterness (for this style), medium sweetness. Overall, refreshing and nicely balanced beer, excellent for hot summer days.

Palate: bitters intensify, fruity and flowery hops, light bitters coming up towards the average-long end. Overall: great APA, nice aroma and palate. Bottle from Wittich Weine, Olten.

Bottle @ Café Brecht, Amsterdam. Hazy pale yellow pour, thick white head. Spicy nose and herby flavour, with mild hop finish. All very balanced and fresh.

bottled. golden with a modest head; aroma of fresh grass and some pine and citric fruit from the american hops; modest bitterness with some tropical fruit sweetness and pine resin; just a bit lacking in oomph
