3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle 0,5l. Pours into very light yellow body with slight cloudiness. Head is white and creamy. Aroma is strong, filling with flavors of citrus, grape, grass and plums. Palate is soapy, medium bodied, carbonation is smooth and somewhat lazy, even watery. Taste is mix of malts which are overwhelmed by bitter hops (Citra, Cascade etc). The result is pretty balanced, dry and bitter, lingering with fruity aromas. Slight above average APA with North German Pils nuances. Best part is this is available in local market for reasonable prices. Thumbs up for Störtebeker.
