Amber-orange and cloudy in glass! Smells yeasty fruity sweet. Starts sweet malty with lots of yeast aromas. The center part brings minimal hop aromas. Finish is fruity-sweet with good yeast aromas!

3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Sweet banana/peach, light clove and wheat malt aroma - very nice. Cloudy amber-orange color with large white head. Slightly sweet banana/orange and wheat malt flavor. Light bitter clove finish - light body. Smells great but flavor a bit disappointing. Still pretty good especially for a "Northern" brewery.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2014 (Bottle, Sophie ’n Ecke, Berlin, 24 July 2010) Cloudy golden amber with lasting, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of apricots, citrus, banana and clove. Fruity, malty taste with orange, apricots, banana, a touch of clove and a refreshing wheaty acidity. Slightly below medium body, balanced sweetness. Decent hefeweizen.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
50cl Bottle bought in Germany, poured a faintly orange and hazy gold with a big creamy white head. Nose has plenty of sweetish yeast - bread, bananas, maybe a hint of cloves, and just a tiny bit of floral (rose?) perfume. The body is quite rich and caramel-malty, with more yeasty bubblegum notes that last into the crisp, floral hoppy, and gently bitter finish. This is a very nice weizen, though I’d hardly call it amber (=bernstein).

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home. Hazy orange pour with a thick creamy just off-white head. Aroma of banana milkshake, fruits, flowers and somewhat perfumed. Flavor is sweet, fruity with banana and clove, somewhat bitter in the finish and slightly watery, yet quite refreshing. Slightly metallic in the finish. Creamy texture and lively carbonation. Nice brew.
