COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Note: Don’t confuse it with Bernstein-Weizen Bio!

rather dull wheaty aroma. simple sweet bready body. touch metallic hops. only slighty hazy orange. nice bitter hoppy finish, but it’s a bit extracty, not full buds. adequate, drinkable, but not what I expected after their roggen, this is dull.

The most average weizen yet. Smoke in the nose. À little bit of banana. Yeah...

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2013 Bottle from Systembolaget. Mild smell of foam bananas. Even milder taste with some yeast and foam banana. Unfortunately also a bit of a metal touch which lowers the score. It doesn’t go down as smooth as most wheat beers. Could use a bit more flavour overall. Edit: Tried it again and there was no metal, I upped the score.

Considering the other offerings from this brewery, I was expected something worse. Sweeter and maltier than its stale counterparts. Creamy and golden. Tried in Berlin in March 2012.

Cloudy, orange-yellow beer with a thick white head. Lightly spiced aroma, clove, cinnamon and coriander, with a touch of bread in the background. Spicy taste, hints of bread, then a zesty citrus fruit flavour comes through. Spicy and zesty in the aftertaste.
