COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle shared (thanksfully) with MichaelBruch. Deep brown-black in colour with no head and thin body. Taste of highly sugared coffee; not that nice. Too sweet, too thin, too undelicious. Well it is drinkable, but not enjoyable.

Bottle bought at Stötebeker breweryshop in Stralsund, Germany. Aroma and taste of malt and caramel. Very sweet. A baltic porter rather than a Schwartzbier. Too sweet for me.

Not really a porter, more of a Schwarzbier with some caramelly sweetness in it. Unusual for Germany. Not my favorite. Störtebeker was a pirate from Rügen, the legend goes, and all their labels are illustrated with ships, seascapes, pirates and the like; they look pretty nice.

Beige head. Dark dark brown body. Aroma; dark sweet malts, hazelnuts, almond peel, apples, grassy hops. Taste; sweet dark malts, syrup, sweet nut oil, chocolate, nugatti, raisins. Somewhat thin body. Short syrupy sweet finish. Easy to drink. Maybe too sweet blackbeer. [50cl. brown btl. 4.0%abv. BB12.02.15 B@Harrislee Flensburg DE]

Medium, malty and sugary sweet flavor, caramel and faint roasted malt. Finish is average, malty and sweet, caramel, light coffee and faint roasted malt. Sugary sweet schwarz. For those with sweet tooth.

Black with a medium, slightly tanned head. Aroma of coffee, toffee, biscuit, caramel. Velvety mouthfeel with malty and roasty flavours. Too low carbonation and low bitterness.

Brun av farge med et off white skum. Sørlig aroma av malt, karamel og hint av nøtter. Smaken fortsetter søtt, listen ettersmak og tynn munnfølelse.

Clear dark brown, tiny offwhite head. Roasted aroma, faint coffee. Flavour is sweet, cola-like. Strange... Not good.

50cl bottle, bought in a cool mix six pack, pours with a clear deep amber body that has long wavelength red hues and supports a thin light tan head. The modest aroma offers up sweet malts, caramel malts and then a light yet sugary molasses note. The taste delivers molasses and caramel malt sweetness that really isn’t cut by much other than an off putting cola like sensation. Into the after taste is a light yet sweet coffee note that does nothing to fight off the sweetness. This is just too sweet for me and its next stop is the sink drain.

Nette Karamelnote, aber insgesamt schwacher Körper, fast kein Nachgeschmack. Es fehlt an "Kraft"...
