(0.5L Bottle) Brown color. Very sweet. Lots of different malts in this one give it hints of caramel, chocolate, and coffee. I read on the back of the bottle that this beer includes artificial sweeteners.

500ml bottle, part of the six-pack Schatzkiste from the brewery. Picked up by Gaute at Systembolaget Luleå. Creamy, light brown head. Ruby shade to a dark body. Sweet aroma of dark malts. Candy sweet taste of brown malts and some dry hops. Mild sweet ending. Floury mouthfeel. One dimensional and too sweet. Possible to dink (shared with Finn at a tasting session, Tromsø 29.05.2013).

50cl bottle, Störtebeker sample case. Did not see this coming seen previous decent ( Weizen) and hit (Atlantik Ale) brews by this brewery, but this was impossible to finish: nutty like a brown ale, coating the palate in nothing but oil and sugar like Vitamalz. Spicy hop presence swallowed by carmel-coffee sweetness, a plastic Nestle cup of cappucino bought at the petrol station. Something to be frozen and offered on a stick at the fair. A perversion of the style and a compromising sugar stain on Störtebeker’s hanseatic banner.

Bottle, march 29nd 2013. Dark brown, almost black, with a dark red tint, head is low and beige. Aroma is malty, caramel, dust, taste of sugar, coke and hints of roasted malt. It’s far too sweet for me. While also being very thin with a buttery sweet aftertaste I think I’ll pass next time I’m offered this beer.

Bottle at home. Pours dark amber brown with a nice head. Slightly sulpher aroma, a little caramel. Medium full body, very caramel taste no bitterness. More a sweet brown ale than a porter.

Rating #814.

Bottle. Pours clear dark ruby with airy, quickly vanishing light tan head. Clear aroma of roasted malt with hints of caramel. Sweet flavour of caramel and sugar with some malty notes, ending slightly roasty. Richly carbonated. Drinkable but would be much better without the excessive sweetness.

brown foam, cola caramel color. sugar caramel sweet flavor. A beer that would fit well with bacon. Feel no alcohol flavor in the beer, too bad it is a weak porter, would have been interesting to store it otherwise. Think this is a good tip for the summer drink for the next heat.

Bottle. Brown colour with a beige head. Sweet aroma. Flavour is very sweet, sugar, caramel. A bit on the watery side. The relatively low alcohol is really noticeable, lacks a good balance and roundness.
