bottle from bierpost. Hazy deep brown colour, mid-sized beige head. Malt-accented, quite on the sweet side with only a shy hoppy touch in the finish.

Bottle. Pours clear dark ruby with airy, quickly vanishing light tan head. Clear aroma of roasted malt with hints of caramel. Sweet flavour of caramel and sugar with some malty notes, ending slightly roasty. Richly carbonated. Drinkable but would be much better without the excessive sweetness.

brown foam, cola caramel color. sugar caramel sweet flavor. A beer that would fit well with bacon. Feel no alcohol flavor in the beer, too bad it is a weak porter, would have been interesting to store it otherwise. Think this is a good tip for the summer drink for the next heat.

Bottle. Brown colour with a beige head. Sweet aroma. Flavour is very sweet, sugar, caramel. A bit on the watery side. The relatively low alcohol is really noticeable, lacks a good balance and roundness.

500ml bottle enjoyed at home. Pours a deep reddish-brown with a thin bubbly head that dissipates almost immediately. Smells like a good porter - nice roasty malt, coffee and cocoa smells. Taste is foul though. Completely unbalanced caramel like sweetness, almost weizen banana hints too. Sticky mouthfeel with a lingering artificial sweetness. Taste gets just about manageable after a few mouthfuls, but this is not a good porter. If only it tasted as good as it smells! The worst of the 4 Stortebeker beers I have tried so far.

Bottle from systembolaget. Smell of chocolate. Sweet taste with wort, dark bread and chocolate. I wonder if this has fully fermented.
