500ml bottle from Systembolaget Luleå, provided by Gaute. Shared with Finn at a rating session. Bubbly, loose, white head, spotty lacing. Yellow-gold body with a slight haze. Aroma of pale malts and mild hops. Pale malty taste added by noble hops. Modest, dry hoppy, mid-sweet, ending. Smooth and clean. Soft carbonated. Standard German plisener (Tromsø 29.05.2013).

50cl bottles, Störtebeker sampler Maruhn. Compared to their other beers, there is something oddly sub-par about this pils. Decently hopped, with the right colour, carbonation and foam, but a metallic mouthfeel and strange, overroasted malts (toast, grains, dried nuts?) give this pilsener a dry and unpleasant twist; also lacks roundness.

Bottle at home. Pours very pale yellow, crystal clear with a small white head. Slightly sulpher aroma, some grainy malts. Medium low body, grainy taste, low bitterness.

Golden coloured beer with a medium white head. Aroma is grain and some grass. Flavor is light sweet with some hay notes. Medium palate. Ok pilsener.

I see this beer as a classic mild beer. suitable for all kinds of food. Can not say more about this beer except that it is thin for my taste.

Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grass. Flavour is clean, malt, some bitterness.

Bottle. Floral hops aroma with hints of citrus, but virtually no head. Tastes sweet and malty in the beginning and turns to a hoppy bitterness. Lively carbonation. Run-of-the-mill northern German Pils.

clear, light golden with a fine head. restrained aroma of grass, citrus and apricot. well-balanced, pleasantly bitter taste and finish.
