1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle courtesy of steptin - thanks! Golden color, thin white head. Aroma of lemon and straw. Taste is smooth, bitter throughout, with odd chocolate finish, never tasted a finish like that before. Nothing to compare.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: JAN 29, 2011 Bottle shared with the in-law. Darker than normal pils color, typical aroma and flavor, except it has a moderate burnt taste. Interesting.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
(bottle) pours a clear deep golden colour with a tall dense white head. aroma of grainy cereals, herbal hops and grass. flavour is the same, again a little too heavy on the grain with not enough emphasis on the hops and an astringent bitter finish. medium-bodied with smooth carbonation.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
50 cl bottle from Aachen. Looks as every pilsner should do: clear golden color, huge white head, with layered lacing. Hoppy nose. Aroma is hoppy. Medium bodied, with bitter hops with a longlasting dry bitter finish. Typical and very nice.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Sweet creamy malt and light grassy hops aroma. Clear golden yellow color with moderate head. Sweet barley malt and strongly bitter quinine flavor. Okay but don’t like the flavor of the bitterness.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Balanced aroma of sweet base malt, hay, and herbal hops. Clear, pale gold under quickly dropping white foam. Pretty generic German Pils flavour: almost dry malt with faint noble hops and some hay. Unremarkable. Light body, moderate carbonation, faint bitter finish.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: SEP 6, 2013 0.5l bottle from Germany, pours a slightly hazy straw-gold with a lacy white head, faint hops and even fainter honey on nose, crisp light bitterness and a little hay on palate and aftertaste. A pretty standard and uninspiring pilsner. Re-rated, it’s clear yellow-gold, quite balanced and pretty reasonable for a Pils.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
0,5 L. Pours a golden color, white head. Nose is grains and some sweet malts, a bit of honey. Slight bitters, medium bodied graininess, and the story ends abruptly there.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled (from Patrik, he got it from some non-beer geeks, BB 10/2010)
Clear golden color, small white head. Grassy, a bit herbal aroma with grainy maltyness. Medium-bodied. Harsh, hard grassy hoppyness, some backing malts. Harsh lingering bitterness. But not totally hopeless: nice bitterness, although somewhat out of balance. And probably "really hops" used, not hop exctract.
