50 cl. bottle @ home, bought in Germany. Golden yellow woth a white head. Malty grassy aroma. Soft aftertaste

Golden yellow, large head. The aroma is lightly malty with a touch of herbal hops. Not bitter, but pleasantly hoppy.

The head is ok. It smells very hoppy, spicy. The taste is very hoppy, spicy, sweet. 10/7/7/7/11/7

Bottle. A straw-like color with a white lacing. Head dissipates quickly. Mildly hopped for the style, but a richer malty body. Smooth, but traces of mineral chalkiness. The beer is refreshing. More craft-like than other major brand German Pils.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a big spongy white head. Aroma is sweet grainy with some grassy hops as well. Taste is dry good grassy hops, dry and crisp, lingering moderate sweet caramel. Medium bodied, good beer.

Typical German Pilsener with a very malt aroma of hay. A bit bitter but overall a weak taste.

Another average offering from what seems to be an average brewery. The pilsener doesn’t try to push any boundaries but stays safely within the lower tier of the style. Grass and citrus, but mostly stale bready flavor and water. A bit of a hops bite at the end. Tried in Berlin in March, 2012
