Milde Hopfung der Hopfensorte Perle und Magnum lässt die weichen Röstaromen in den Vordergrund treten. Dunkles Malz, Cara- und Röstmalze verleihen dem mattschwarzen Bier seinen Röstgeschmack sowie den Duft von Kaffee und Bitterschokolade. Lange kalte Gärung mit untergäriger Hefe gibt dem Bier die milde Gärungskohlensäure und das malzaromatisch samtweiche Mundgefühl. 12.5°

Deep brown with hues og amber. Very light hints og roastyness with a solid caramel base. Mild roast in flavour with good bitterness towards the end. Light body, and medium carbonation.

Pours dark brown color with a small head. Aroma of stuffy grain, oat, malts, hay and some cellar notes. Flavour of malts, grain and mild creamy chocolate notes. Smooth, creamy palate. Decdent.

Bottle: HAzy red brown colour, big creamy head! Aroma had a werry grassy,hay sweet malty dominans! some caramelly, and dark chocolate was there to. Flavor had a sweet caramelly dominans, mixed with sweet maltynes, and some dry bitternes. Thin body, medium choclate/caramelly finish.

Bottle from Berlin consumed at home on 14th October 2012. Pours hazy brown with pale tan head. Fruity roasty aroma. Roast malts, nuttiness and berry fruits in-mouth; fruity cocktail in the finish. Zingy mouthfeel and thickish body.

0,5 l bottle kindly provided by gunnar and enjoyed at home. Clear deep ruby body with a large dense cappuccino colored head leaving fair lacing. Roasted and wooden nose. Smooth to drink. Medium body. Mellow roasted notes, a light malty sweetness and a mild but lasting acidity in the mouth

Aroma: Smelling of bread, dates, coffee and licorice.
Appearance: A hazy brown colored beer. An off-white head with good lacing and some curtains.
Taste: Tasting of dark toasted bread, figs, coffee and some soy sauce.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a soft texture. A small body with a somewhat dry finish.
Overall: Very average.

Pour dark brown, with a small semi-offwhite head. Aroma of nuts, sour caramel, old hops. Taste is a little bitter. Average bodied, with a semi fizzy carb.

50 cl. bottle. Dark, brown colour with a small, white head that fades completely. Aroma has chocolate and roasted malts, hints of milk(-chocolate) and vanilla. Taste is medium sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture. Average carbonation. Short, roasted finish with hints of cocoa, chocolate milk and vanilla. A straightforward schwartzbier.

Mörk, mörk brun, nästan svart med röda toner. Cappuccinofärgat skum. Mörkt bröd, svagt kaffe, lingon och mörk choklad i aromen. Kolsyrig munkänsla. Sen är det röda bär, mörk choklad och kavring i smaken. Inte alls dumt.
