COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Butelka 0,33 l. Kolor bardzo ciemny choc nie czarny. Ciekawa etykieta. Duzo informacji o skladnukach. Zapach kawy, kwaskowosc. Smak ciemnego chleba troche sliwki slody dobrze scharmonizowane aromaty palone nie dominujace. Chmiel bardz delikatny. Zostaje dlugo na jezyku. Jedno z lepszych czarnych piw ogölnodostepnych w niemczech.

Bottle. Deep dark brown and clear with a tan, smooth-rocky medium head. In the mostly aroma of malts mostly bready, light sweet caramel and just some hints of coffee and roast along with light floral hoppy notes. Sweet starts of and stays light to medium sweet but eventually turns a bit dry in the finish. Flavor is dominated by roasty and coffee notes, however there are not distinctively strong. The with is medium with light carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. It leaves a pleasant light sweet coffee aftertaste. While the aroma and flavor as such is not overly strong it still lays a decent foundation, however, the harmonic and well balanced taste with a pleasant sweetness and just the right amount hoppy bitterness is the real strength of the beer.

Schaumkrone sehr gering, pechschwarze Farbe. Riecht malzig, erinnert eher an Altbier. Geschmacklich röstig-malzig, leichte Kaffeenote im Abgang. Recht rezent, durchschnittlich weich. Ganz gut, aber nicht überragend.

At just on cool and into a Kӧstritzer flute. Ruby tinged black and radiant with a rocky, tannish mousse atop that weaves a thin lace. There is an earthy, peaty, topsoil and charred meat/kelp umami waft coming from the glass. Hints of milk chocolate and dusty cocoa add a depth. Lean in body with a prominent earthiness, sweet front and malt driven flavour. Light tannins with a blood/rust finish. There is chocolate in there but it is rich in cocoa and has a softly bitter edge. Overall it has a toffee sweetness that shines but the earthiness balances it nicely. Very approachable! Smooth, roasty, with some plum and dark bread taste. A little too sweet for me, but drinkable ;-)
