UPDATED: OCT 11, 2014 Pours a deep brown, almost black colour, with a light brown head. Nice malty aroma of cocoa, toffee, toast and nuts. No hops noticable on the nose. Taste is medium bitter, with a nice coffee-like finish. One of the best Schwarzbiers I’ve had so far, a prime example of the style.
