"Das Bier der Gerechten" - limited edition.
Moderate Hopfung mit der Sorte Perle und Magnum unterstützt die kräftigen Malzaromen mit einer feinen Herbe. Caramel-, Röst- und dunkle Braumalze werden reichlich eingebraut und sorgen für die tiefschwarze Farbe, ein cremiges Mundgefühl und lassen ein kräftiges Duftspiel von Bitterschokolade und Kaffee entstehen. Lange kalte Gärung mit untergäriger Hefe lässt 7,5 % Alkohol entstehen, der den Körper wohlig wärmt. 16.9°

Bouteille 50cl. Brune, col beige. Arôme est pour une fois intéressant sans avoir ces notes trop douce. Pointe de malt grillé, touche de noisette avec en retrait des notes de houblons. En bouche, bière est en effet plus forte, gardant un profile malt allant de caramel-toffee au grillée et café au lait avec néanmoins des pointes de sucre qui donnent un palais un peu trop doux a mon gout. Le tout offre aussi des notes de noisette rappelant un choco-noisette léger. Sur la fin des notes légèrement amer de houblon sont a noter. Force de dire que je n’aurai jamais associé cette bière a une porter.

Bottle, at ChrisO’s Christmas Tasting, 28th Dec 2010. Deep ruby brown with a beige head. Light initial sip and then gets weightier. Sweet, slightly vanilla taste. Strength concealed well. Nice stuff.
