COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This uniquely American beer offers a crisp, medium-body with a light amber color. It is assertively hopped with Pacific Northwest Cascades for a firm bitterness and delightfully floral aroma.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is citrus, pine, and resin hops with biscuit and cracker malt with apple and pear fruity esters. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, light malt and fruity esters with a dry finish. Medium-light body and medium carbonation.

Bottle. Crisp and refreshing like a good apa. Very hoppy but not overdone with a little fruity sweetness.

Pours yellow with a faint view of amber, off white head that accompanys you for the session aromas are of hops of course the IBUs are low on this one its not bad for a rating just not at the top of the list for a style that I try to stay away from

12oz bottle. Caramel malt, little bready. Light orange hops. Mostly clear yellow-orange color, good thin off-white head, leaving great lace. Smooth, lighter carbonation, medium body, more dry texture. Sort of sweet taste, light bitter. Decent, but doesn’t really stand out for me as far as pale ales go

Nice amber color with a foamy white head. Malty aroma with a modestly bitter tatse. Nice long aftertaste. Not always a pale ale fan but Stoudt’s never disappoints.

12 oz bottle pour amber with a off white head. Aroma of sweet malts and pine. Taste is the malt, with a nice bitter finish.

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2012 Golden pour and a nose of slight citrus. Initial taste is straight APA with a little hop finish. Standard APA and that?s not a bad thing.

Crisp and clean this ale didn’t disappoint. Good hop balance. Amber in color with decent head that disappeared quickly. I really liked this brew because the balance of the malt and hops

On tap at White Dog, Philly, as Leglifter Pale Ale. Solid as hell brew here, a by-the-numbers APA but quite well done. Deep orange pour, semi-cloudy, bedecked with froth. Tea and floral notes in the nose, which in the taste are complemented by solid but unostentatious malts. Bar might be set fairly low, but it’s cleared without ambiguity.
