COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This uniquely American beer offers a crisp, medium-body with a light amber color. It is assertively hopped with Pacific Northwest Cascades for a firm bitterness and delightfully floral aroma.

This is my second favorite beer from Stoudts, second to thier IPA. Their APA is sweet with a grapefruit aroma and citrus taste and a good balance of American Cascade hops. Not too bitter however. A terrific buy- I bought this at my local distributer on sale for 18 bucks! Can’t beat that for such a good beer.

I am not a pale ale person, however this is not that bad.

Pale Ale is not favorite types of beer. This is consistent with other decent Pale Ales. Hoppy and bitter.

Nice bold hop aroma. Well balanced hop flavor -- good bitterness. Nothing special, but a well done pale.

The name says it all. Red brown, bitter with citrus aroma. Very American.

Nice malt character with a bold, bitter hop aftertaste but little hop flavoring...in fact, it lacks just about any flavor. Pungent cascade hop aroma accompanies a beautiful copper-red body. Slightly better than fair.

A good APA, depending on the bottle. Have had some consistency problems, but generally quite good. Isn’t really special or distinctive in any way, kind of gets lost in the generic APA muddle of things.

This is my personal favorite beer of all time. I’ve never had anything better. Stoudt’s makes quite a variety of great beers, and this is their crown jewel.

Not a bad beer, but nothing more than average either. Good malt character but the hops are lacking except in the nose. Good Cascade aromas, but where is the hop flavor? Sort of an English/American Pale Ale hybrid? Good copper color with no head. Somewhat disappointing overall - too much malt, not enough hops for an APA IMHO.
