Firkin. Pours translucent dark straw with off-white head. Nose was resiny hops, pine nuts, mango, tangerine. Tastes rich, very hoppy, with tangerine, mango, and black peppery notes, plus some finishing florals.

Firkin at the pour house. Pours clear amber with a medium sized white head. The aroma is big mango, very sweet, some hoppy notes. The taste is dry, medium bitter, some sweet mango on the finish.

Had this on cask and thought the flavors were muddled and would have much rather had their traditional Double IPA. Beautiful to look at, but nose and taste were off.

Cask. Pours clear amber with thick, frothy off-white head; good retention and lacing. Aroma is apricot, peaches, mango, cereal and caramel malts, light dates, and floral hops. Flavor is balanced sweet malts and fresh fruit esters with good supporting floral hops (light bitterness) with a touch of spicy alcohol; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Cask. Pours clear orange with a medium, fizzy and frothy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is apricot, mango and peach esters with biscuit and honey malt and floral, pine hops. Flavor is heavy hops and medium bitterness with fruity esters and supporting sweet malt with a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation.
