A strong beer of 10,6 % which is sweet in its profile. Fresh aroma and lots of berries in the aroflavor. Alcoholic sweetness ending up in a dry hoppy finish.

Mar 21, 2007 Hazy orange/copper like color with amazing white head. Lot’s of hops.. Slight sweetness but very nicely balanced with good solid bitterness. Got some fruit, orange and peach.

Mar 19, 2007 Bottle. Poured a dark amber in the glass with a creamy off-white head that left big chunky lacing. Sweet caramel aroma. The flavor found caramel, chocolate, and a hoppy back ground. Medium to full body. Mainly sweet but a hint of bitter afterwards. The 10.6% is well hidden and don’t even notice till you wake up in the chair at 2 am.

Mar 17, 2007 Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange body with a white soapy head. Strong alcohol aroma accompanied by ripe oranges, grapes, grapefruit, and rye. Alcoholic sweetness in the flavour along with yeasty hops and darkish malts. Thick.

Mar 13, 2007 Bottle conditioned. Small ivory head that mostly diminished, fair amount of lacing, transparent, fizzy carbonation, and an orange hue. Nose was malty, caramel, sweet and hoppy but not overly so and ditto for the flavor plus IMO the alcohol was very well hidden. Mildly tingly mouthfeel. Medium body. Very, very quaffable, not over-the-top hops by any means and just plain nice.

Bright hazy orange, creamy slightly porous white top.
Rich aroma, blend of clean alcohol and high alpha hops. Slightly creamy bottom.
Medium bodied with clean warming alcohol. Strong hop presence with creamy finish. Good middle of the road hoppy ale with above average clean alcohol (especially for such potency).

Mar 12, 2007 rating from several samples in history, 12oz, pours orange with white head. nose is sweet caramel and wet hops pretty odd. flavor isn’t that bitter and really sweet and unpleasent. pnw hops that seem more juicy than anything. the only real good thing about this beer is that you can’t believe it’s 10+% abv.

Mar 11, 2007 Good. One finger head. Pous orange. Aot of grit in the beer suspended. Nice citurs flavor. Very good.
