2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a hazy orange with floating sediment and a thick off-white head. Aroma is surprisingly mild for a DIPA, but is there of unplaceable hops, alcohol, and pine. Taste is exactly the same. Just not impressed with this, I was expecting more.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Deep cloudy orange color, head isnít there but the lace is all over the glass. Aroma is hop, wheat, dark fruit, yeast, alcohol. The fruits come flying out of the wine glass Iím drinking this out of. Excellent. Flavor is hop, roasted malt, stone fruits, lime, vegetables, oak, pine, spice. I feel the warmth from the ABV after only three sips. Delightful.

Poured from bottle into snifter
Appearance Ė Pours a beautiful vibrant orange color with a small white head. The head fades rather fast to leave a decent level of lacing.
Smell Ė The aroma is sweet and delicious. Itís sweetness is largest in a tangerine smell, but has other sweet smells of caramel, banana, and some tropical fruits. Along with the sweet is a nice bready aroma and some notes of a yeasty nature. Overall it is a wonderful smell.
Taste Ė The taste begins of a big bready and malty flavor with hints of a the tropical fruit and tangerine are present. The bready and malty flavors create a base for the brew and remain rather constant throughout, but the fruit sweetness varies through the taste. The fruit initially starts light, grows stronger toward the middle, and then fades again toward the end. During the sweet flavor transitions the hop flavors transition as well. In the beginning there is a light citrus hop. More toward the middle of the taste more grapefruit and lemon citrus come to the tongue. In the end, the hop flavors increase again as some earthy hops join the mix. The combination of the malty, hoppy and light fruit are joined by a medium alcohol presence to leave a bitter hop and light tingling warmth on the tongue.
Mouthfeel Ė At 10 % abv the body of the beer is medium with a carbonation level that is average.
Overall ĖThis beer has a very nice taste, smell and look. Itís pretty good stuff and well worth a try.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Radiantly floral on the nose with sweetness behind it. Pours a hazy caramel with diminishing and long lacing head.
When this brew bursts on the palate it is all hops at first with varied but all floral hop character and sweetness from the well balanced malts. Finishes with a boozy burn and a clean palate. Whoa.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from a bottle given to my buddy Jeremy into a pint glass a nice honey orange color with a lightest beige head.
Aroma is upfront sweet almost like honey. A touch of grassiness.
Flavor really sweet which didnít balance with the hops as well as other DIPA (and DIPAs are my jam so I have had quite a few) Donít get me wrong this is well above average DIPA but it lacks the quality finish of a hops finish that better DIPAs have within their profile.
Wonít run out & buy but not completely dissed by this brew.

3.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma ... not much. Appearance is a hazy honey color with a fluffy 1 finger head that hangs around a long time. Taste starts out great but fall short in the end. I pick up lager like flavors in this Double IPA. Palate is good. Overall pretty good but there are many better IPAs out there.

Interesting..very interesting. Alright so lets break this one down. I hear double IPA is start getting skeptical. The lines get blurred sometimes. Is it gonna be hoppy and balanced or some weird malty sweet mess. This one takes a bit. It needs to warm up. I was worried it was gonna be a weird mess but as it warmed to room temp it only got better. Itís boozy..10.6% rightfully so. Itís very hoppy. Itís clean and has a good bite. I really dig this beer. Iím surprised I didnít try it sooner. I like the enamel eroding quality. Gives it a nice touch. Good stuff. Pennsylvania has a solid beer offering try this asap! This buzz though. Not a session beer.
