Bottle. The pour was a non transparent very dark brown almost black with an average sized (1-2 finger) thick creamy head and had decent retention which diminished down to a spotty residue. This allowed for some excellent sheets of lacing that coated the glass rather nicely.
The aroma was of a burnt chocolate malt and the moderate odor of a leathery yeast with notes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate and molasses and a decent scent of alcohol towards the end.
The taste was very malty and bold with a nice note of chocolate and a hint of molasses in the beginning and finished with a nice bitter coffee flavor that had a mild alcohol tinge at the end. The flavor lingered for a real long time which allowed the bold alcohol coffee flavor to settle nicely on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was quite full in body with the texture being nice and creamy, and yet a little dry with the carbonation being a tad on the mild side.
Overall an exceptional Imperial Stout that had an explosion of flavor and a nice dose of alcohol that worked very well together.

Pours Black, when held to a light only the edges of a pint glass shows light. Two finger light beige head with nice lacing. Aroma of coffee, dark roasted malts. Rich malty-molasses, sweet coffee taste. Full body, alcohol is noticeable but not a distraction to the taste profile. Finishes coffee, dark chocolates, rich malts with a slight bitterness. Very nice!

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a dark ruby brown with a short caramel colored head. Smoky wood and cherry on the nose. Scrubby sensation livens up the otherwise wet mouthfeel. It becomes a bit astringent at the dry finish. The flavor is very good. Cherry is prominent. Smoky woody flavor. High quality stout.

Draft. Black with a thin tan head. Aroma oats and hops. Taste adds some roasty and light vanilla notes. Solid boozy punch. Medium crisp palate. Surprising body for the style. Very different.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured black with a nice full, foamy tan head. Aroma is mild, roasted malts, dark fruits and some coffee. Taste is quite smooth (especially for an imperial stout), some grain, some coffee and some chocolate. It does has a dry bitter finish. Nice beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Served with a small yet stable, tan head, Pitch black body. Moderate malty aroma, creamy, not much to it. Served super cold, but I recon it will never be too Aromatic. Roasted malt taste, moderate bitter, long yet straightforward aftertaste. Decent brew, nothing spectacular. (On tap at Blind Tiger)

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours black, with a large, light brown head.
Aroma of dark, smoky, chocolate malt, roast, prune and coffee.
Flavour is ashy, dry bitter, coffee, with a tart, nearly sour dark fruit tang.
Nothing very oatmeal is indicated, leans more towards tart and dry.
Just didn’t do it for me.

Bottle. The pour is nice and dark with a full head. The aroma is full of malt. Nice chocolate notes as well. The taste has a nice body to it. Drinks really nice, like an oatmeal stout should.
