Bottle - no idea what batch this is as it doesnít say on the case or the bottle. Medium copper color - clear. Somewhat hoppy but clean aroma. Quite bitter with some interesting malt and hop flavors. Pretty good.

Bottle. I guess itís Batch 4 since thatís the latest and I just bought it? Pour was copper colored with little head. An odd aroma and flavor that I canít place. Some citrus, pine and that odd chemical cleaner type flavor. Itís not pleasant. Moderate bitterness, dry on the tongue. This could have been really good.

10/29/2014. On tap at the brewery. Amber with a white head. Malty caramel aromas with citrus. A bit mellow without too much hops.

355 ml bottle. Hazy orange with white head. Smell is hoppy pine and grapefruit. Taste is bitter citrus zest, pine and floral. Dry with medium bitterness and medium carbonation.

Bottled as "Fourplay," no space between four and play, take not please, people! Searching is hard sometimes.

Nose leafy green hops with light wood and citrus, medium caramel and a little dough. Pours orange-amber, faintly hazy with a large rocky beige head. Light-medium body, medium bitterness with sharp, bright citrus and medium-strong caramel and dough. Hops suppressed a bit but thereís actually a pretty good hop-malt balance without the benefit of any spice or fruit or toasty character. Malt is, however, one-dimensionally thin and boring, as is the overall rubbery finish and aftertaste. Flabby beer, clean, but Iím done.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear copper body with a nice frothy beige head that left some delicate lace. The nose is too heavy on the malt for my tastes, though thereís sufficient hops in here as well. It just smells like itís going to be sweet. The flavor is indeed overly sweet with lots of caramel and brown sugar sweetness from from to back, and lingers really long on the finish. Moderate hop flavor with just a light bitterness. Medium bodied with a sticky and clingy residual sweetness and soft fizzy carbonation. Canít say that I care for this one. Probably my least favorite her from Stoudtís in a long time.

12oz bottle, from Dutchís. No date or code or batch # indicated anywhere on the bottle as far as I can tell, but this was just shipped from the distributor this week so Iím assuming itís the most recent batch... Pours a mostly clear amber red orange color. A finger of off-white head. Decent good ridges of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft / crisp lighter carbonation. Slick finish. Bready biscuity kind of caramel malt up front. Kind of piney, earthy herbal hop flavor. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, light to moderate sweet taste. Kind of soft and malty, but taste is satisfyingly bitter and the malt isnít so bad. Good to pair with my sandwich.

Bottle@ trailer. Best by date stamped on the bottle reads 9/26/2014, so I shall assume itís the most recent batch to date. Clear copper pour with ivory head. Dusty, dry hay, herbal aromas with pine, caramel. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Pine, citrusy hoppy flavors with tropical fruits, and lightly sweet pale maltage___drying finish----good.

Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance Ė The beer is served a nice golden orange color with a one finger head of white fizzy foam floating atop the brew. The head has a lighter level of retention, fading over time to leave a decent level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell Ė The aroma of the beer is on the lighter side overall and is largely on the slightly sweeter side for an IPA with some nice notes of tropical fruits and some caramel Along with the sweet smells comes aromas of a more hoppy nature with a grapefruit and grassy hop and perhaps just a hint of earth. Taste Ė The taste begins with some bready and doughy flavors mixed with a decent showing of some caramel and a light bit of tropical fruit of tangerine and mango. The caramel fades a bit as the flavor advances, with more and more tangerine and mango coming to the tongue. Right from the start there is a decent showing of a grapefruit flavor which remains relatively constant throughout the taste, but which does get a bit stronger at the very end. While the grapefruit gets slightly stronger, it is joined by some other hop flavors of a grassy and pine nature. These flavors are joined by a little bit of a lighter fruit flavor of peach and apricot at the very end, leaving a smoothly hopped and somewhat sweeter but balanced IPA flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel Ė The body of the beer is on the thicker and creamier side for a brew of only 6 % with a carbonation level that is rather average. Both are fantastic for the style and really accentuate the blend of hop in light of the nice malt bill that the brew has. Overall Ė A rather tasty IPA overall that is has a good blend hop flavors and of sweeter malts all mixed with a quite easy drinking feel. A rather tasty brew overall and one to try if you get a chance.

Iím assuming Iíve got the right batch here: 12oz bottle from Andersons, Bent Tree, CLB. Orange-copper pour with a thin sturdy white head. Aroma of citrus, peach, caramel malt, bread. Tastes are along those lines with tropical fruit, grass, lemon, herbal, pine, grapefruit. Ok,

An OK brew, nice for the warm weather. A bit of grass and citrus in the aroma. The taste was sweet to start with some citrus later.
