Rated on 12-22-2010. This beer pours a small frothy, fizzy mostly diminishing white head, hazy yellow body, fizzy carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is malty, yeasty, hoppy, sweet, and fruity. The taste is sweet, lightly biter, malty, yeasty, citrus hops, and fruity. This beer has a semi-harsh finish. The mouth feel is clean, lively and this beer is medium bodies. This is a session beer. The flavor is a bit of a turn-off for me as it taste somewhat harsh.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear but slightly hazy gold color with a thin white head that disappears rather quickly. Aroma of corn and a touch of hops. Thin bodied, balanced between malt and hops. Finishes the same as the taste. Makes me think of a pre-prohibition lager. Not awful, but certainly not the best.

Bottle. Corn, hop, malt, citrus. Balanced. Light texture. Medium duration. Nothing spectacular.

Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a transparent lighter gold with lively carbonation and thin white head that quickly dissipates into very thin lacing. Smells doughy and pleasantly skunky with hop notes. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. This would be a 3.0, but it became less enjoyable as it warmed (and I drank it fairly quickly).

12 ounce bottle from jdb288. Some sediment was loosened and a hazy pour resulted. This is golden and fizzy. A steady white head that leaves just a little lacing. Soft pale malts and yeast hit the nose first. Just the lightest hint of fruit. Dry Noble hops are tasted first along with something like sorghum that is light. A little cereal and some sourness with grass. Malts and those hops carry this.

Golden body, medium sized white head, spotty lacing. Grass, biscuit, and just a touch of citric hops. Medium to light bodied, smooth carbonation, refreshing finish.

Draft->shaker. Clear gold with a moderate white head. Bread, malt, some grass and hint of hops. Bland but drinkable.

Bottle. This is a nice simple dortmunder that hits the spot in fall. Enjoy the bready malt backbone on this.

Bottle to a glass shaker. Pours a light yellow with a lot of bubbly. White head that dissipates quickly. Kinda watery bread flavor, no hopiness to it. Meh.

crazyvin (1911) - New York, USA - AUG 5, 2013
A nice clear golden body with a big white head that had some retention and a little bit of lacing. A nice aroma if bread malts and a slight hint of grass hops. Flavor was mostly bread malts. It was certainly one dimensional but it certainly enjoyable. A crisp finish and the beer had a good mouth feel.
