3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 crossovert (2547) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 16, 2011
It pours a brilliant clear gold. It really tastes authentic, save maybe a bit over the top on hops, but all-in-all true to style, which is rare for a US "Helles".

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 lithy (2913) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 29, 2011
Bottle thanks to Suttree, I think. Clear gold, puffy white foam. Aroma is toasty, light corn, vanilla, husky grain. Taste is nice, sweet, vanilla, husky spiciness. I usually hate helles, this one is nice.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Shag (2229) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - JAN 1, 2011
This poured a golden color with a moderate white head. The aroma contains some lemons, grass, and vanilla. The flavor is nice with a malty presence, some lemons, grass, and a slight hop presence. This my friends is how you do a lager. No annoying corn or crap like that. Just a clean refreshing beer. Major props here!
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 drewbeerme (3262) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 2, 2010
Bottle, pours very hazy light golden with a white head. Aroma has a nice grassy hop notes, honey malts, and hay. Flavor is crisp with balance in grassy and peppery hop notes with sweet honey and biscuity malts with earthy finish. Tasty and a well made helles that doesn’t come off bocky like a lot of American versions. Why didn’t I buy a case of this?!?

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2011 Pours straw to gold with thin white coarse head, lively carbonation visible. Smells of slight sulfur compounds, fresh malt, and clean herbal hops. Flavor strikes a perfect balance between clean malt sweetness and mild hopping. Delicious, nice body for a beer this light.

Yellow, with a surprisingly sturdy white head. Surprisingly nice aroma - flowery, fruity and a little grainy. Has some sourdough and White wine - I wanna say Gewurztraminer. Tasty and easy drinkin’.
