3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 elgiacomo (565) - Chickamauga, Georgia, USA - AUG 29, 2010
12oz bottle best by Nov 20, 2010. Pours clear pale gold/yellow with a one and a half finger white head that leaves some rings of lacing. Aroma features noble hops, grassy, floral, somewhat spicy and musty, yeast and bread, a little banana and other fruit. Flavor is somewhat malty and sweet, earthy, grassy hops, some grain and bread, dry finish. Mouthfeel is low to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Easy drinking, refreshing beer, but nothing spectacular.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 hypn0toad (178) - Maryland, USA - AUG 22, 2010
Warning: This tasting was conducted at an earlier date and time, but the results were recorded in a ’notebook’. What follows is an interpretative commentary based on the notes. The reconstituted review is as follows: Yellow. Smoother, pleasant aftertaste. Initial bitterness, very good summer beer.

Tap at Pony. Pale straw-golden pour with a thin white head. The nose is fresh and clean with lots of light grassy straw flavoured malt and a bright, herbal/spicy nose. Fresh, spicy with a nice crisp finish. The flavour is great – excellent integration of light malt and soft noble hops. Fresh and chewy with a soft lingering finish. It’s reminds me of Brooklyn Lager – but it is lighter, crisper and fresher. Mmm – I’m a big fan of this one.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 scottw86 (836) - Maryland, USA - AUG 4, 2010
Poured a clear yellow with a stable white head. Aroma is very malty and sweet with some bread and dough. Taste has grass, bread, and earthy notes. Slightly bitter with hops. Finish is crisp and slightly bitter. Very refreshing. One of the best Helles I’ve had.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 arone12 (703) - Maryland, USA - JUL 27, 2010
Pours a yellowish orange color with a small white bubbly head. Smells of apricots, mangos, and other fruits. Tastes a little too fruity for my liking. Aroma is much better than taste.
