Heres hoping this is tolerable, or I better cook something up with it quick. Bottle says for best flavor best drink by 10-26-02. Aroma has stood up rather well, yeasty, lemon, light spicy, banana, pretty reasonable hefe. Flavor is now more like a lambic. Its really sour and actually sweet. So, I dont think this was supposed to be brewed this way, but a pleasent suprise, since its actually enjoyable. I’m giving this beer props since it has turned out so well. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA

When poured, this beer formed a small sized white head that mostly diminished, fine sized bubbles, some yeastiness, sparse lacing, cloudy, carbonation, and a straw yellow hue. Malty, banana, spicy and clove aroma as was the flavor. Palate was tingly. fatty (363), Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania, USA

Light, almost watery palate. Good summer refreshing beer with light spice, touch of sour and yeast, wheat. ales4ever (24), gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, USA

Great Weizen! Nice color and texture. Starts off with a soft bannana-clove, followed by mellow malt-wheat, slight orange peal and citrus, spices and bitter balance. This is their flagship beer, totally under estimated and not given enough attention. shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 2, 2005 Pours slighly hazy golden yellow, with film for head. Decent banana and clove aroma. Initial flavor is a 9/10 just fades way to quick. Banana and spice flavor taste like it would be chewy, but has a very thin body. Little clove in the aftertaste. Decent overall.
