Nice aroma, citrus and clove, banana and bubblegum. Light yeast and wheat notes. Cloudy pale gold with thin white head. Mild carbonation in a lighter body. Mild tang to the start with good yeasty wheaty taste. Light acidity, citrus notes. Refreshing throughout. Mild bitter finish with bubblegum and citrus. Bubblegum finish and after. A bit more watery than I prefer but a solid Hefeweizen. mephisto (1144), Taiwan

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 12, 2005 A strong banana like aroma. A cloudy golden/yellow color. A very spritzy fruiity flavor. Flavor stays with you for a short time. Pailhead (2610), Allen Park, Michigan, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 10, 2005 Bottle: Aroma is lemony, peppery, light clove, and slightly grassy. Pours a hazy yellow with a small white head that has no staying power outside of a ring that is left after everything else fades away. Flavor has a lot of banana and only a touch of citrus. Spicey finish is more clove than pepper compared to the aroma which is the opposite. Banana lingers slightly into the aftertaste. Lively carbonation and a little too lively more my preferences. Flavor and aroma are nice, but lacking in appearance and palate. theacelatrain (262), Washington DC, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 5, 2005 Tap. Hazy yellow with nearly no thin head. Aroma of sweet wheat and spices. Flavors thin, with banana overpowering the wheat - too sweet. Some citrus and hops follow at the end, but still finishes syrupy. Dogbrick (2924), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 29, 2005 Clear golden color and somewhat bubbly with a thin white head and very little lacing. Aroma of wheat and clove. Light-bodied and crisp with a decent balance of wheat, banana and hops flavor. The finish is refreshing and mildly hoppy with a pinch of citrus. Straightforward and enjoyable. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 22, 2005 Sample from 12 oz bottle at the Mondial. Oily medium gold, a bit bubbly, with no head at all to be attained, no matter how much swirling and shaking was done...that’s just no way for a hefe to look...minimal sweet banana and caramel in the nose, but it takes effort to locate and identify them at first...sugary bananas covered in syrup, then dunked in water, that’s the character in the body, whose decent carbonation is the only real redeeming factor...very dry and flavorless towards the end. Did Stephen and I get unlucky? Who knows...I feel I should give it another chance, but have no desire to.
