COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Bavarian-style unfiltered wheat beer is brewed with 50% malted barley and 50% malted wheat. Our signature blend of German yeast strain imparts a flavor and aroma reminiscent of bananas, cloves and bubblegum.

Decent wheat. Spicy aroma and flavor. Surprisingly big bodied. Good pale golden color with a slight haze. Very nice wheat flavors.

Light yellow, hazy. Banana and bubblegum but with a rather odd aftertaste. Also, a bit limp. (on tap, Pennsylvania Microbrewers Fest 2003)

Had this at the Iron Hill Beer fest. Goo version of the style. Had a good wheat character to it.

Tried a Stoudt’s sample pack with 4 different beers and this was my least favorite. Could just be that I’m not big on Wiezen’s though.

An excellant wheat beer. There is a beautiful balance of banana and spice. A great mouthfill. A very nice beer for the summer.

mmmmm clove, mmmmm banana. Nice creamy head. This weizen is right on the money. Well balanced and well made. Super refreshing. A quality brew.

A very light wheat beer. could not detect the subtle tastes that usually make wheat beers interesting. maybe a little citrus but not much more

I had this at Stoudt’s brew pub on tap. One of the best wheats I’ve ever tasted. Their yeast strain used in this created a banana, citrus bite in the finish. The mouth feel was chewy. The wheat was a nice balance to the whole experience. Had the bottled version, but pastuerization takes away from it.

I found the beer had a strange, unpleaseant flavor. Almost salty. I usually like wheat beers but not this one.
