COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The driest and most delicate of our lagers. Stoudt’s Pils is characteristic of the traditional European Pilseners. Straw-yellow and assertively hopped with Saaz hops, this frequent medal winner has a refreshing bitterness and refined hop aroma.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 02/02/2012. This beer is a clear pale yellow color with a medium fizzy white head that burns away steadily. Short stringy lacing. Aroma of hops and sweet malt. Light body with a Saaz hops character and notes of bready malt and yeast. The finish is mildly hoppy with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Decent Pils overall.

Bottle- Pours a clear golden yellow with nice two finger white head. Dissipates fairly quickly leaving behind a small amount of residual head. This beer was well carbonated, on the brink of being fizzy. The aroma was was very subtle and very malty with a hint of lemon scent. Taste was slightly sour with a good balance between malt and hops. A lingering bitter after taste that is fairly pleasant but a little to bitter. Overall a descent Pils.

Tap flight. Pale golden color with a well laced white head. Very flavorful even though there’s not much aroma. Starfruit, lemon essence, and cereal grains all balanced well. Medium palate with a lingering Euro hop bitterness. Very flavorful. A great pils.

Received in trade from mdaschaf, thanks for the opportunity. Pours a crystal clear golden yellow color with a good two finger bone white head that slowly recedes but leaves much lace as she fades. Smells of sweet bready husky pilsner malt with just enough spicy grassy hops to keep this from cloying. Sweet bready pilsner malt flavor balanced with spicy grassy hops. Very dry finish with sharp spicy bite. Medium to thin body with a spirited level of carbonation and sweet honey like mouthfeel. The greatness here is in the subtlety of the flavors and how well the hops and malts contrast each other. Nice nice drinker here.

Golden clear. Good white head but shinks to a film like most. Organic malt aroma. Weird for a pils. Tastes like an organic amber. No skunk. Bad try.

12oz bottle pours a slightly hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma of malts, grain, and a slight hop presence. Taste is clean and crisp malts, bread and grains with a nice hop bitterness. Drinkable and refreshing!

Stoudts Pils has a thick, white head and a hazy, yellow appearance with some bubbles and a bit of lacing. The aroma is of lightly-toasted barley malt, sweetness, and clean water, and the flavor is also of light malts, pronounced, yet pleasant bitterness, and water. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Stoudts Pils finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and mostly dry. Overall, this is very good. RJT
